Job summary

Linde Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Southeast region (Georgia, GA, Alabama, AL, Tennessee, TN, and surrounding areas).

You will build a robust pipeline, engage with plant managers and engineers, and present industrial gas-based solutions that address productivity, energy efficiency, and decarbonization goals. The role requires 8+ years in BD/technical sales or related industrial disciplines, a strong engineering background, and travel roughly 40–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Materials/ Metallurgical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, process engineering, or related industrial roles.
• Proven success identifying, developing and closing complex industrial projects.
• Experience building value-based business cases and influencing decisions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50%.
• Familiarity with industrial gases, processing, and economics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the region's market expert and growth catalyst for the Southeast region.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic projects aligned with growth objectives.
• Guide signed projects through execution, startup, and adoption.
• Partner with regional sales teams to accelerate growth in strategic accounts.
• Monitor capital investment activity within the territory and identify opportunities.
• Develop regional growth plans aligned with broader market segment objectives.
• Engage with plant managers and operations leaders to assess processes and opportunities.
• Present technical and commercial solutions aligned with Linde’s capabilities.
• Conduct plant assessments, evaluations, and opportunity workshops.
