Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Regional Business Development Manager in Springfield, MA to drive revenue growth across a defined region. You will identify and close opportunities with commercial builders, contractors, and property managers while growing strategic relationships and leading sales initiatives.

The role emphasizes independence, CRM-based forecasting, and collaboration with operations to ensure on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent sales and business development experience considered.
• Minimum 3+ years of business development, outside sales, or territory management experience.
• Experience selling to commercial builders, contractors, property managers, construction firms, or related markets preferred.
• Strong background in developing new business relationships and managing sales pipelines.
• Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate opportunities, and close business.
• Experience managing a geographic territory independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• CRM experience preferred; valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with builders, contractors, and property management organizations.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships and partnerships.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying upsell opportunities; conduct sales presentations, site visits, and meetings.
• Collaborate with operations, installation, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Track sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts through CRM tools.
• Monitor local market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions.
• Achieve and exceed territory sales goals and performance objectives.
