Degenkolb Engineers is seeking a Business Development professional to market our structural engineering services in Michigan with a hybrid schedule including Detroit and Grand Rapids. The role focuses on client development, lead generation, BD coaching, and integrating Marketing/BD activities with firm leadership.

The ideal candidate thrives in a relationship-driven environment, has AEC experience, and can influence growth across practice areas and project managers.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Effective communication skills in relationship building.
• Strong research skills for lead generation.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe CS.
• Professional certification: FSMPS, CPSM, Professional Business Developer, MBA, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow client relationships in the Michigan region.
• Lead generation and pursuit of new business opportunities.
• Coach and integrate Marketing/BD teams with firm leadership.
