Job summary

The LIBRE Initiative, part of the Stand Together philanthropic community, is seeking a Regional Field Manager to recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders across the Harrisburg Tri-County area in Pennsylvania. This hands-on role involves building movements and engaging communities to support policy reforms.

You will organize phone banks, canvassing, and social media outreach, and coordinate contractors. Fluency in Spanish and English is a standout plus, with evenings/weekends required at times.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and quickly building relationships across diverse communities.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscape.
• Self-motivation and strong organizational skills to manage multiple events.
• Team-first mindset and ability to collaborate with LIBRE staff and activists.
• Willingness to canvass neighborhoods and make calls for priority initiatives and endorsed candidates.
• Valid driver’s license for travel across the Harrisburg area and Pennsylvania.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated integrity, humility, and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's values and PBM principles.

Responsibilities

• Find and develop local activists who can become community leaders.
• Equip activists with LIBRE’s training and resources to advocate for change.
• Organize phone banks, social media outreach, and canvassing activities.
• Keep activists motivated, informed, and active through regular contact.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including scheduling, compliance, and best practices.
