Job summary

Stand Together is seeking a Regional Field Manager for LIBRE Initiative in the Harrisburg, PA area. You will recruit local activists, train them, and mobilize canvassing, phone banking and social outreach to advance policy reform aligned with LIBRE and AFP priorities.

In this hands-on role, you will oversee part-time canvassing teams, coordinate events, and build a diverse network of volunteers while engaging communities to drive meaningful change in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, or political campaigns.
• Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Find and recruit local activists who can become community leaders.
• Equip activists to advocate using LIBRE’s training and resources.
• Organize phone banks, social media outreach, and canvassing to educate on public policy issues.
• Keep activists motivated and active through regular contact.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management and compliance.

As a Regional Field Manager (internally called a Grassroots Engagement Director), you’ll recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders across the Harrisburg Tri-County area in Pennsylvania and inspire them to take action and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. This is a hands-on community organizing role for someone who loves meeting people and building movements.
How You Will Contribute

• Find and develop local activists who are, or could become, leaders in their communities
• Equip them to advocate for change using LIBRE’s training and resources
• Organize phone banks, social media outreach, and neighborhood canvassing, and come up with creative ways to educate people on public policy issues
• Keep activists motivated, informed, and active through regular contact
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, legal compliance, and best practices

• A valid driver’s license for travel across the Harrisburg area and Pennsylvania

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $50,000–$65,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.

Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations.
