Job summary

The LIBRE Initiative is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) in the Harrisburg area, within Americans for Prosperity’s Stand Together network. You will recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders across the Harrisburg Tri-County area to drive policy reforms and open opportunities for all.

Expect to organize events, train activists, and manage canvassing contractors while engaging communities in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, or political campaigns.
• Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy.

Responsibilities

• Find and develop local activists who are or could become leaders in their communities.
• Equip them to advocate for change using LIBRE’s training and resources.
• Organize phone banks, social media outreach, and neighborhood canvassing; educate people on policy issues.
• Keep activists motivated, informed, and active through regular contact.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, legal compliance, and best practices.
