As a Regional Field Manager (internally called a Grassroots Engagement Director), you’ll recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders across the Harrisburg Tri-County area in Pennsylvania and inspire them to take action and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. This is a hands‑on community organizing role for someone who loves meeting people and building movements.

How You Will Contribute

• Find and develop local activists who are, or could become, leaders in their communities
• Equip them to advocate for change using LIBRE’s training and resources
• Organize phone banks, social media outreach, and neighborhood canvassing, and come up with creative ways to educate people on public policy issues
• Keep activists motivated, informed, and active through regular contact
• Manage part‑time canvassing contractors, including time management, legal compliance, and best practices

• Knowledge of state and federal public policy
• Self‑motivation and strong organization to keep multiple events and activities on track
• A team‑first approach with LIBRE staff and activists
• Excitement to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for LIBRE and AFP priority initiatives and AFP Action endorsed candidates, and to motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the same
• A valid driver’s license for travel across the Harrisburg area and Pennsylvania
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

50000 - 65000 USD a year

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $50,000–$65,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.

Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations.
