Mercy Housing in Chicago seeks a seasoned grants writer and donor relations professional to expand and steward our corporate and foundation funding portfolio. You will research, write, and submit grant proposals, while coordinating stewardship of grant funds and building relationships with grantors and donors.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with regional leadership and program staff to expand funding, manage reporting, and support evidence-based program design.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of experience in prospect research, grant writing and management, and donor communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Write and prepare submission of foundation and corporate grant proposals as well as government-funded Resident Services contracts.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective corporate and foundation grant donors through face-to-face meetings, site visits, and other communications.
• Manage and provide reports on grants to grantors and contracting agencies as required.
• Steward, manage, and accountability for grant-funded projects.
• Identify corporate and foundation funding prospects to develop a pipeline of donors.
• Collaborate with Resident Service and Real Estate Development staff to support program design and outcomes.
