Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Director, General Manager to lead the Region with focus on growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You will direct P&L across multiple locations, drive fleet utilization, transportation, and customer service, and build a high-performing regional team.

The role requires strong executive presence, 8+ years in business-unit management, and travel up to 25% within the region. This is a senior leadership position reporting to the VP, General Manager.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Business Administration or related field required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in progressively responsible Business Unit Management roles.
• Experience managing a P&L of at least $5M is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Region by developing growth strategies and executing on company objectives.
• Manage the P&L and drive revenue growth and profitability for the region.
• Oversee field sales teams and drive sales productivity to meet plan objectives.
• Develop and execute Region growth strategy to increase market penetration across WillScot lines.
• Oversee branch operations managers for fleet, labor, materials planning and safety.
• Coordinate transportation, logistics, and field service leadership for efficient fulfillment.
• Improve customer service operations and net promoter scores.
• Mentor leaders and build a talent bench for general management roles.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback to inform commercial strategy.
