You will guide regional managers, project teams, and field personnel to deliver complex substations and battery energy storage projects across North America. The role requires a strategic leader who can balance long-term growth with day-to-day execution, foster high-performing teams, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; 10+ years of related experience.
• Proven leadership experience in regional operations, substation, or BESS projects.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability focus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and teams.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct regional Substation and BESS operations, aligning with company goals.
• Lead preconstruction efforts, RFP pursuits, and bid strategy collaboration.
• Develop leaders, mentor teams, and drive workforce growth.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, and budget to achieve profitability.
• Represent Michels Power in client meetings and industry events.
