Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks a General Manager – Substation & BESS to lead regional operations in Neenah, WI, focusing on safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

You will drive strategic initiatives with regional senior leadership and oversee project delivery teams across Substation and Battery Energy Storage System initiatives. You will mentor leaders, manage preconstruction and RFP pursuits, and build high-performing teams while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Demonstrated leadership experience in regional operations or large-scale projects.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Direct regional Substation and BESS operations to meet safety, quality, and profitability goals.
Lead preconstruction, RFP pursuits, and oversee bid strategies with Estimating/Engineering teams.
Develop and maintain client relationships to grow regional market presence and repeat business.
Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance across the region.
