Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a General Manager to oversee markets in the West Region, with an 8–12 month training program before assignment to a regional location. You will gain exposure to multiple branches while learning our sales, service and operational standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and strategic planning skills, and the ability to manage a large team across diverse locations. Travel during training is extensive and essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ General Management experience in a service-related industry is desired.
• Energetic leader with a strong team orientation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day sales and profit goals to the team and ensure quality service to customers.
• Monitor and report monthly performance including P&L, weekly sales, expenditures and forecasts.
• Oversee branch managers and supervisors; lead a large team across a major market.
• Collaborate with Regional VP to develop plans to improve branch performance and support company strategies.
• Ensure appropriate licensing, certifications and HR compliance for the branch.
• Recruit, hire and retain management, administration and service technicians.
