Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks an Area General Manager to drive safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction across regional operations including in-shop repair, field service, and production. This senior leader will develop high‑performing teams, apply IPS values, and deploy data‑driven decisions to enable sustainable growth.

Key duties include setting sales strategy, managing shop and field operations, and guiding continuous improvement via the CIPS program.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7 years of combined general management or operations in industrial services (rotating equipment).
• 3 years of Lean Manufacturing or 6-Sigma problem solving.
• 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects.
• Combined 10 years of experience in these disciplines.
• Background with motor repair is a plus.
• MBA and Lean Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, operational excellence, profitability, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Set sales strategy and direct execution for the location's Sellers.
• Manage shop and field operations; hire, train and evaluate employees.
• Lead the CIPS program and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop annual operating plan and monitor key financial trends.
• Maintain ISO quality compliance and drive training on standard work.
• Lead change initiatives and develop cross-functional teams.
