Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an Area General Manager to lead coils and motor OEM manufacturing with P&L responsibility. You’ll oversee three value streams—in‑shop repair, new motor manufacturing, and coil production—driving safety, process excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Develop a high-performing team, implement IPS’s CIPS framework, and partner across functions to meet strategic goals while growing the business and ensuring ISO and customer standards are met.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related technical degree.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter able to manage and prioritize projects.
• 7 years in general management or operations in an industrial services business.
• 3 years Lean Manufacturing or 6-Sigma problem solving skills.
• 5 years experience managing large-scale projects.
• Combined 10 years experience in these disciplines.
• Background in motor repair and application is a plus.
• MBA and Lean Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales strategy and direct execution for the location's sales function.
• Manage shop and field operations; hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Operate a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement (CIPS).
• Develop and execute annual operating plan; monitor KPIs and finances.
• Build and maintain key customer relationships and cross-functional teams.
• Lead change initiatives and drive process excellence across value streams.
