Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks an Area General Manager (AGM) with P&L responsibility for coils and motor OEM manufacturing. You will lead 3 value streams—in-shop repair, new motor manufacturing, and coil manufacturing—driving safety, profitability, and customer KPI attainment using the IPS CIPS framework.

Responsibilities include sales strategy, operations management, and continuous improvement. Build a high-performing team, ensure ISO compliance, and foster IPS values of Safety,

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related technical degree.
• 7 years of combined experience in general management or operations in an industrial services business in rotating equipment segment.
• 3 years of Lean Manufacturing or 6-Sigma problem solving skills.
• 5 years managing large-scale projects.
• Combined 10 years of experience in these disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales strategy and direct execution for the Sales function for the IPS location’s Sellers to deliver Unmatched Customer Experience.
• Manage shop and field operations; hire, train and evaluate new employees, organize design and assess performance.
• Lead all aspects of the CIPS program to move decision making down and eliminate waste.
• Develop business strategy, annual operating plan (AOP) and tactical execution; monitor financial, sales, cost and customer trends.
• Maintain safety, quality, and ISO compliance; drive training and standard work.
• Lead change initiatives and drive process excellence; develop key customer relationships.
