Job summary

Southern Foodservice Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee operations across the Western Division, focusing on client satisfaction, team development, and overall profitability.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a track record in multi-unit contract foodservice management, strong financial and operational leadership, and the ability to build lasting client relationships across sites. Travel extensively within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years in multi-unit foodservice leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management in contract food service.
• Proven track record of managing operations, finances and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent financial acumen and budgeting experience.
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and support to on-site Food Service Directors/Managers across the region.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies, procedures for food quality, safety, sanitation and service.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess operations and coach on-site teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client obligations.
• Oversee implementation of new programs and initiatives within the region.
• Manage financial performance of each location, including budgets and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to achieve revenue, cost control and profitability targets.
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans for challenges.
• Participate in development of regional and company-wide financial goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
