Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool across St. Louis area facilities. The role supports adult/geriatric patients, with night shifts, and opportunities to work across Med/Surg, Tele, ICU, and Stepdown units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; two years for ICU or specialty areas; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care per standards for adult/geriatric patients.
• Provide care across Mercy Regional Float Pool facilities as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional care teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain clinical judgment, documentation, and adherence to policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float to multiple units as needed.
