Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Regional Float Pool in the St. Louis region. You’ll assess and plan care, then implement and evaluate outcomes for adult and geriatric patients as you float to several facilities.

This full-time, nights position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits. Epic experience and BLS/ACLS certifications are preferred, with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• One year of recent bedside RN experience to work Med Surg; minimum two years for ICU/other specialties.
• Epic experience preferred; BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float across Mercy hospitals in the St. Louis region to support multiple units.
• Provide care in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU and other designated units.
• Maintain required certifications and licensure; participate in ongoing education.
