Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Regional Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts across multiple Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region. The role requires bedside LPN experience in Med Surg, BLS, and IV certification, with Epic experience preferred for certain units.

You will float between hospitals, delivering adult/geriatric nursing care and collaborating with diverse teams. Joining Mercy offers sign-on incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Active LPN license in the hiring state and must meet State Board requirements.
One year of bedside LPN experience to work Med Surg.
Two years of bedside LPN experience for ED/ICU and other specialties; Epic experience preferred.
IV certification required.
BLS required for Med Surg; ACLS and PALS for ED/CC as applicable.
Ability to stand/walk most of the time; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
Float between Mercy Hospitals in the St. Louis region as part of Regional Float Pool.
Provide care across multiple units including Med Surg, Telemetry, and ICU as assigned.
