Job summary

Guardian Flight, LLC in Riverton, WY seeks a Regional Floating Flight Nurse to support patient transport by air. You will work with a professional team to provide critical care aboard aircraft during flight calls and ground support, ensuring safety and high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure with emergency or adult critical care experience, CFRN within 24 months, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Prior flight experience is preferred.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
