Job summary

Walmart in Red Bluff, CA seeks a Transportation Regional Training Center, Fleet Development Site Lead to steer site-level execution of the Fleet Development strategy. You’ll support onboarding, driver readiness, skills development, facilitator readiness, and compliance-based training at the training center.

Lead with safety and compliance, partner with Operations, Fleet Development, HR, Legal, and Compliance to align training with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, transportation, logistics, education, training, safety, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: 6 years of experience in training, operations, transportation, or compliance.
• 4 years of experience leading, supervising, training, or mentoring associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level execution of Fleet Development training programs, including onboarding, driver readiness, skills development, facilitator readiness, and ongoing training.
• Partner with Operations, Fleet Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, Legal, and Compliance to align training with site and business needs.
• Deliver training that reinforces safety, compliance, operational standards, and Walmart’s expectations for professional drivers.
• Manage class schedules, training materials, facilitator readiness, participant support, records, reporting, and confidential associate files.
• Use feedback, training data, facilitator performance, and process gaps to improve delivery and address risks.
• Develop, coach, and mentor Fleet Development facilitators through observation and development planning.
• Ensure facilitators are prepared to deliver training through certification, train-the-trainer participation, and ongoing skill development.
