Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Fleet Development Trainer to provide expert guidance, develop action plans, and deliver training to Driver Trainees and stakeholders. You will ensure alignment with customer and business needs, and model compliance with company policies.

You will lead content development, conduct assessments, and support regional training center initiatives while collaborating with senior leaders and Fleet Development teams.

Qualifications

• Current interstate Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or will obtain within 120 days of hire).
• Three years of full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving in the past seven years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years; no serious violations in the same period.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on information and best practices.
• Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
• Build commitment for perspectives and rationales.
• Co-facilitate training content for Driver Trainees with senior leaders.
• Provide feedback to participants, Fleet Development leadership, and Regional Training Center teams.
• Support implementation of business solutions by building relationships and monitoring progress.
• Conduct facilitation audits on all Fleet Development roles.
• Ensure One Best Way consistency and compliance across training centers.
• Deliver training using multiple modalities (Academy Connect, VR, new tech).
• Engage with Fleet Development Trainers to provide additional training and follow up on tasks.
