Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated is seeking a Regional Fleet Compliance and Safety Manager to lead safety programs, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations across multiple sites. You will partner with Fleet Operations, Corporate Safety, and Finance to reduce risk and improve safety performance.

The role requires deep knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, plus strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Transportation Management, Logistics Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of occupational safety, transportation safety, fleet safety, or EHS experience.
• 5+ years of multi-site management experience.
• Experience investigating workplace injuries and commercial vehicle accidents.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transportation safety programs and initiatives.
• Develop strategies with Fleet Director and Corporate Safety to reduce crashes, injuries, and property damage.
• Promote a behavior-based safety culture focused on accountability and improvement.
• Partner with transportation leadership to set regional safety goals and metrics.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and driver observations.
• Lead investigations using Root Cause Analysis, Five Why, or similar methods.
• Develop and deliver transportation safety training and onboarding safety assessments.
• Support incident command and emergency response planning in safety events.
