Perdue Transportation Incorporated (PTI) seeks a Senior Transportation Manager to lead regional fleets, ensuring safe, efficient operations across finished goods and agricultural products. You will drive regulatory compliance, cost control, and asset utilization while implementing best practices and continuous improvement.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong analytics, and the ability to balance customer service with financial goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in fleet operations, transportation management, or logistics.
• 3–5 years in a management/supervisory role overseeing private fleets or multi-site distribution.
• Hands-on knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, ELDs, and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proven financial acumen with operating budgets and cost-per-mile/cost-per-case metrics.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and telematics or fleet-tracking tools.

Responsabilités

• Ensure adherence to DOT/FMCSA safety mandates.
• Lead safety meetings, driver roundtables, and safety audits.
• Oversee fleet operations, asset management, and cost control.
• Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze delivery expenses, route efficiencies, and fuel usage to drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast spending and analyze variances.
