Waste Pro seeks an experienced Regional Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager to lead transportation safety, regulatory compliance, and accident prevention across Southeast Florida, including West Palm Beach. This role demands hands-on leadership in field operations, accident investigations, and regulatory adherence, with extensive travel across the region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Services, Occupational Safety/Engineering or related field.
• Progressive, hands-on safety experience in transportation or heavy fleet operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ANSI standards and recordkeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Lead regional safety, compliance programs across Southeast Florida locations and operations.
• Manage DOT compliance, Hours of Service, weight, logs, post-accident documentation.
• Investigate accidents and injuries; perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate workers' compensation processes with HR and safety teams.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT/environmental regulatory compliance and recordkeeping.
• Coach and educate supervisors on safety expectations and reporting.
• Maintain field presence and travel ~60% across the region.
