Job summary
BRYAN TRUCK LINE is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our flatbed team in the region. You will transport brass and copper rod on a flatbed trailer, using tarps and side kits, and you will be the face of our company during deliveries.
The role requires a Class A CDL and at least 1 year of experience, with relocation to Montpelier, OH before starting. Safety, punctuality, and customer service are essential, and compensation is based on a percentage of the load.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A driving required.
- 1 year regional driving experience preferred.
- Must relocate to Montpelier, OH before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck and pull flatbed trailers with side-kits and tarps.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections for safety and regulatory compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, secure load, and manage tarps and side kits.
- Navigate routes efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs including mileage and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatcher about delays or issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report issues.
