Job summary

BRYAN TRUCK LINE is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our flatbed team in Ohio. You will transport brass & copper rod on a flatbed trailer, with tarps and side kits and scrap back.

This role pays a percentage of the load, with a strong emphasis on safety, punctuality, and customer service as you represent the company at deliveries. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, securement, on-time navigation of regional routes, accurate records, and compliance with all transportation

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license and drive in a regional capacity.
• Experience with load securement, tarps, and side kits on flatbeds.
• Proven safety record and ability to maintain delivery logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and pull flatbed trailers with tarps and side-kits.
• Perform pre-trip inspections for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods.
• Navigate routes efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Communicate with dispatcher about delays or issues.
• Comply with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
