Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is seeking a Director of Financial Operations to lead financial strategy for a growing geography within Surgical Care Affiliates. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance with a dotted line to the Regional Vice President of Operations, this role owns all financial aspects of the regional portfolio.

The successful candidate will drive EBITDA growth, partner with regional leaders, review performance, manage expenses, and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Minimum five years financial experience, healthcare experience desirable.
• Ability to digest financial information and render judgment.
• Executive presence to deliver financial results with confidence.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assume full financial responsibility for a growing regional portfolio of centers.
• Drive EBITDA growth through profitable top-line growth initiatives and expense management.
• Partner with Regional VP of Operations to transform value propositions in regional markets.
• Represent the Regional VP at health system, partnership, or board meetings and drive opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with health system partners and physician groups.
