Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, seeks a senior finance leader to oversee a regional portfolio of ambulatory centers in Southeast Florida. The role focuses on driving profitability, analytics, and financial strategy in partnership with Operations and executives.

The successful candidate has at least five years of financial experience in healthcare, strong analytical and communication skills, and travel ~25%. Competitive compensation includes benefits and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field is required
• Minimum of five years of financial experience; healthcare experience desirable
• Ability to digest financial information, render judgment and provide financial advice
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
• Executive presence to deliver financial results and advise with confidence
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with Operations
• Build relationships with physician/health system/health plan partners
• Travel requirements: 25%

Responsibilities

• Support consistently growing EBITDA through profitable top-line growth initiatives, developing new partnerships, managing expenses, and supporting development (M&A)
• Act as strategic business partner with Regional VP of Operations to transform value proposition in regional markets
• Speak with authority on behalf of the Regional VP at health system, partnership, or board meetings
• Create, implement and pull through opportunities driving financial growth and operational performance
• Build positive relationships with key health system partners and work as a business partner

Responsibilities

The territory covered is Southeast Florida.

The successful candidate is responsible for all financial aspects of a regional portfolio of centers including, but not limited to:

• Support consistently growing EBITDA through leading profitable top-line growth initiatives, developing new partnerships, effectively managing expenses, and supporting development process (M&A)
• Acting as a strategic business partner with the Regional Vice President of Operations to transform the value proposition in regional markets to achieve and sustain competitive advantage
• Speaking with authority on behalf of the Regional Vice President of Operations and representing him/her at health system, partnership, or board meetings
• Creating, implementing and pulling through opportunities which drive financial growth and operational performance
• Build positive relationships with key health system partners and work closely with them as a business partner

Qualifications

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field is required
• A minimum of five years of financial experience is required with healthcare experience being desirable
• Ability to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, pattern recognition
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
• Executive presence to deliver financial results and provide financial advice with confidence
• Ability to collaborate within other support service departments (revenue cycle, legal, supply chain, development, etc.) and with Operations
• Build relationships and collaborate with physician partners, health system partners, and health plan partners
• Travel requirements: 25%
