Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Regional Director of Financial Operations for the Ortho Alliance partnership. You will lead a multisite financial operations team, drive EBITDA growth, oversee physician compensation, and partner with operations to improve performance across Indiana, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky.

The role reports to the OA CEO and will interact with SCA C-Suite, corporate development, and other support departments. A hybrid-remote arrangement is expected, with travel up to 50% in year one.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics; Master degree highly desirable.
• Minimum of seven years of financial experience in healthcare.
• Experience with large multisite medical groups desirable.
• Physician compensation experience desirable.
• Ability to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, pattern recognition.
• Meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
• Executive presence to deliver financial results and advise with confidence.
• Explain complex financial results or transactions to physicians.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, legal, supply chain, development, and operations.
• Travel 25% (up to 50% first year); Midwest area or easy access to Cincinnati preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead OA-focused financial operations team and coach as needed.
• Grow EBITDA through profitable growth, partnerships, and expense management.
• Act as strategic partner with Operations to identify financial improvements.
• Represent OA CFO at partnership or board meetings with authority.
• Create and execute opportunities driving financial growth and performance.
• Manage monthly reporting of physician compensation and financial results.
• Build trusted relationships with CEO, regional leads, and physician-owners.
• Assess financial performance of portfolio of partnerships and budgets.
• Coach executives on financial matters and improvement areas.
• Support diligence and integration of acquisitions; model growth opportunities.
