Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Business Controller to deliver timely BU financial reports, enforce internal controls, and safeguard assets across a single business unit. You will partner with department heads to ensure alignment of financials and oversee forecasts, capitalization, and cost allocations in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in finance/control.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirms basic internal controls are in place and adequately maintained.
• Ensures all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting are accurate.
• Certifies project forecasts are properly setup and reported.
• Monitors capital expenditures and cost allocations per policy.
• Manages regional office administrative duties and assets.
