Job summary

UG2 is a leader in facility services and seeks a Financial Analyst to support the West Region. This role collaborates with regional finance, operations, and back-office teams to drive the monthly close, financial reporting, and regional analysis in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business/finance and 1–3 years of experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems. On-site position based in San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with MS Office, especially Excel; strong analytical and data skills.
Familiarity with finance systems such as Sage Intacct, ADP Vantage, Bill.com, or Kronos is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting docs.
Review general ledger activity, research variances, and prepare adjusting entries.
Maintain schedules and financial tracking tools for audit-ready documentation.
Analyze cost drivers and operating metrics, identify trends and variances.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages and support reviews.
Serve as finance contact for field inquiries and coordinate follow-ups during close.
Collaborate with finance, operations and back-office to ensure timely reporting.
Contribute to process improvements and documentation standards; assist ad hoc analyses.
Support regional finance manager with special projects as needed.
