Job summary

UST is seeking a Junior Finance Executive in California with 1–2 years of experience to assist day-to-day finance operations, reporting, budgeting, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate understands basic finance and accounting concepts, has strong analytical skills, and is proficient in Excel.

Experience in IT services or software environments is preferred, as the role involves a project- and client-driven finance function.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant Finance, Accounting, or Planning experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Ability to work with large financial datasets and produce meaningful reports.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including financial tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and preparation of management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Track project-related financials, including revenue, costs, budgets, margins, and profitability.
• Assist in monitoring customer billing, invoices, accounts receivable, and outstanding payments.
