Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting is seeking a Regional Hub Technician for the Birmingham, Alabama region. The role covers maintenance, repair, and inspection of Musco warranty products in the field, with extensive travel across the U.S. to service lighting projects from ladders and aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education in mechanical or electrical trades or equivalent experience preferred.
• Electrical license or the ability to obtain an electrical license is preferred.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty product in the field.
• Warranty repairs on lighting projects, including working from ladders and in aerial lifts at top of poles or towers.
• Coordinate project timelines with customers, vendors, and resources.
• Maintain communication with Warranty Hub Manager about daily duties and schedules.
• Safely operate and inspect Musco aerial equipment on regional hub assignments.
• Prepare detailed written field reports and paperwork within one week of project completion.
• Package and ship RMAs for evaluation and testing.
• Provide leadership to crew and coordinate with vendors and customers on projects with PM responsibility.
• Drive Musco equipment on service projects; CDL may be required.
• Make daily expense-related decisions and manage project logistics.
