Job summary

Musco Lighting seeks a Regional Hub Technician for our Birmingham, AL office to perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of Musco warranty products in the field. The role requires traveling frequently, operating aerial lifts, and coordinating with customers and vendors on project timelines.

The candidate should have post-high school education in mechanical or electrical trades, strong technical abilities, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical and mechanical skills required.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving ability expected.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision and show strong personal initiative.
• Basic computer, email, and internet skills for work instructions and reporting.
• Electrical license or progress toward license preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Compliance with Federal DOT rules and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco warranty products.
• Execute warranty repairs on lighting projects, working from ladders and aerial lifts.
• Coordinate project timelines with customers, vendors, and resources.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Warranty Hub Manager about duties and schedules.
• Safely operate aerial equipment and conduct regular inspections.
• Provide detailed written field reports and complete paperwork within one week.
