Job summary

ALS Environmental seeks a Regional Field Services Manager to oversee field operations across the Eastern region, unifying scheduling, routing, and service delivery. This leadership role focuses on safety, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement while coordinating with lab leadership and cross-functional teams.

You will lead site teams of Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs, drive efficiency, and manage fleet resources to support regional excellence and timely sample handling.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of field services, logistics, or operations experience; lab/environmental industry preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or multi-site leadership experience.
• Experience scheduling, routing, logistics planning, or fleet management processes.
• Working knowledge of laboratory quality systems and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, teamwork, and communication with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with field data collection tools, GPS/GIS systems, field sampling processes and Microsoft Office Suite; Onfleet knowledge.
• Ability to travel regionally (up to 20–40%).

Responsibilities

• Lead region-wide logistics and field services strategy that improves efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Standardize scheduling, routing, and operational procedures across field service teams.
• Work with other Regional Field Service Managers to connect site teams into a unified regional service network.
• Drive service excellence, on-time sample pickup, and client satisfaction.
• Develop capabilities and performance of site-level Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs.
• Support lifecycle management of fleet resources and field sampling equipment.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Directors and Client Services to align field operations with business needs.
