Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a Regional Service Technician to manage an assigned service zone and assist other zones to ensure service calls are completed within the SLA. Technicians may use company vehicles or personal vehicles with proper records and insurance, and must maintain updated tickets in the web-based system.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of POS, network, or PC repair experience, and strong customer service and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year POS repair, network equipment repair and PC repair experience is highly desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel 75-100% for work.
• Strong customer service and documentation skills are essential for end-user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service zone and assist in other zones to ensure service calls meet SLA.
• Maintain and manage company vehicle records or mileage if using personal vehicle; ensure insurance and CVR status.
• Provide IT hardware/software support in retail/office environments; follow guidelines for inventory and parts movement.
• Update tickets daily with status, notes, equipment type, serial numbers, and call resolutions.
