Job summary

Pomeroy in Tyler, TX is seeking a Regional Service Technician to manage service zones and support adjacent zones as needed to meet SLA. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and customer-focused service in a retail/office environment.

You will document calls in a web-based system, track parts and inventory, and maintain a clean driving record while working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AS/BS Degree in a related technical field is highly desired but not required.
• Industry Certifications such as A+, Net+, Server+, or similar are highly desired.
• Minimum of 1 year Point of Sale repair, Network Equipment repair and PC repair experience is highly desired.
• Minimum 1-year previous Break Fix or Network experience in Retail/Office setting is preferred.
• Must be Safety Oriented with a clean MVR and driving habits.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service zone and assist in other service zones to meet SLA.
• If assigned a company vehicle, maintain it in a high state of repair and cleanliness with up-to-date maintenance.
• Keep accurate mileage records if using personal vehicle and maintain a clean MVR and proper insurance.
• Troubleshoot IT hardware/software in a retail/office environment and improve break-fix knowledge.
• Maintain inventory locations and manage parts movement, returns, and tracking.
