Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Field Sales Manager to drive sales volume and distribution by leading a team of sales representatives across New Castle County, Kent, Sussex, and Smyrna, DE. The role emphasizes planning, training, and execution to meet performance goals.

You will coach reps, conduct one-on-one meetings, develop performance plans, and support HR in recruitment. Strong customer orientation with key accounts and ability to manage supplier surveys and ride-alongs are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of related sales experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and presentation software.
• Strong communication, diplomacy and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and reporting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coaches a team of sales representatives.
• Conducts effective one-on-one meetings, communicates objectives, reviews performance, and guides closing gaps.
• Develops and reviews performance plans and evaluates new hires (90-day evaluations).
• Addresses skill deficiencies with coaching plans and progress tracking.
• Pre-plans each sales period with reps, sets goals, and targets accounts.
• Assists HR in interview and onboarding processes.
• Maintains relationships with key accounts, identifies opportunities, and resolves issues.
• Coordinates supplier surveys and ride-alongs; escalates issues when needed.
• Resolves customer issues by following policies.
