Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities seeks an experienced leader to manage mechanical and electrical field operations, including transmission and distribution, across an operating region. You will direct field supervisors, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and cost control for a multi-million dollar capital and O&M budget.

Role involves coordinating with departments, emergency storm response, and continuous improvement of work processes to meet reliability and customer-service goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or eight years of equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a high-performance culture.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in an electrical or mechanical industry.
• Good math skills; excellent planning and scheduling abilities; budgeting awareness; valid driver’s license in state.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and productive completion of assigned capital and maintenance projects within required time, budget, and engineering guidelines by managing Mechanical, Electrical, and T&D Field Supervisors and resources.
• Develop and maintain a learning organization that fosters a high-performance culture, acts as a change agent, and ensures safety, training, development and compensation are effective.
• Implement and monitor key performance measures and controls to ensure consistent safety and productive work practices across operations.
• Contribute to achievement of corporate objectives by administering policies and programs related to safety, diversity, coaching, goal setting, and restoration of service.
