Job summary

Family Dollar, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead a regional HR team and partner with senior leaders. The position requires 7–10 years in HR leadership, a Bachelor's in HR or Business, and travel up to 50%. A Master's is preferred, with PHR/SPHR certifications desirable.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of HR Business Partner or Manager experience.
• Experience leading large teams of direct and indirect reports.
• Background in workforce planning, staffing, budgeting, associate relations and retention, learning & development.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of Regional HR Managers and integrate with client units to drive HR strategy.
• Partner with Senior Leaders to foster culture and professional growth.
• Coach leaders on engagement, compensation, performance, development, and compliance.
• Consult with COEs on compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
• Support development plans and monitor skill enhancement for current/future roles.
• Drive process improvements and ensure policy compliance across the org.
• Advise leaders on HR policies, procedures and organizational goals.
• Assist VP HR in setting department goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local HR laws.
