The Building People is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations across East Tennessee federal buildings, including the Knoxville courthouses. You will supervise maintenance staff and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring safety, uptime, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing 24/7 emergency response, building access control, and reporting performance metrics while supporting Building Operating Plans. A background check and clearance are required.

Formación

• 7+ years of facilities management experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multi-trade teams.
• Ability to obtain HSPD-12 clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Directs 24/7 emergency response for maintenance and safety issues.
• Operates the Knoxville admin desk as service intake and badge enrollment center.
• Supervises maintenance staff and subcontractors (e.g., elevators).
• Monitors uptime and coordinates inspections for compliance.
• Tracks regional performance and reports on service metrics.
• Supports development and update of facility Operating Plans.
