Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Regional Facility Support Technician to join the Region 7 Administration team. The role supports facility operations, handles maintenance requests, and coordinates supplies and inventories for multiple sites.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with day shifts and the possibility of telework. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong organization and communication skills,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience using office equipment and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklift.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular, predictable schedule and performs other duties.
• Monitors and assigns work tasks for facility maintenance and repair.
• Performs administrative support and prepares routine reports.
• Develops reports for regional facilities, leases, and contracts.
• Communicates with internal and external customers.
• May assist with emergency/disaster situations; overnight travel possible.
