Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead a Mobile Building Engineer team across the United States with remote work options. The role emphasizes client satisfaction, safety compliance, and SLA attainment while shaping regional operations.

You will manage budgets, oversee service providers for soft and hard services, and drive SOP development and process improvements while building strong internal and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training
• Minimum 5 years in a similar supervisory/management role
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety practices
• Ability to lead and engage a team to meet requirements
• Experience in developing and implementing processes and SOPs
• Experience in account management of Facility Management clients
• Strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills
• Proactive problem-solving and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mobile Building Engineers (truck-based) in the assigned region
• Drive team engagement, development, performance, and retention
• Ensure health and safety standards through toolbox talks, training, PPE, and incident reviews
• Manage budgets, cost control, and service provider performance
• Develop and implement processes and SOPs; drive efficiencies
• Ensure on-time, high-quality completion of work orders and projects
• Investigate operational issues and resolve them promptly
