Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead maintenance across a local regional market. The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA universal certification, with 3–5 years in facilities management.

You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe, reliable operations across multiple locations. Approximately 50% travel is involved.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R license and EPA certifications required.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with store managers and facilities leadership to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain contractor licensing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections.
