Job summary

Allure HCS is seeking a Regional Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance across multiple facilities in Illinois. You will plan, direct, and evaluate the maintenance department, ensuring safety regulations are followed and capital expenditures are appropriately managed.

Responsibilities include supervising building systems, coordinating services with other departments, and establishing preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of building maintenance director experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background and drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and electrical, plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Licensure in accordance with current standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, staff, public and agencies.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and regulations for nursing facilities.
• Ability to plan and carry out repair, construction, and equipment installation.
• Ability to relate information about a resident’s condition.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the maintenance department.
• Oversee documentation, tels, workorders, keeping track of plant operations and systems.
• Direct maintenance department responsibilities and authority.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair facility/resident property as needed.
• Inspect storage rooms and utility areas for upkeep and supply control.
• Participate in facility inspections by government agencies as needed.
• Advise Administrator on maintenance-related adjustments.
