Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you’ll lead a team of technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Electrician with 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Responsibilities

• Travel ~50% within the region.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Handle reporting and analytics for facilities operations.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with site inspections and permitting per mechanical or building codes.
