Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive client outcomes and business results.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations while traveling between offices to maintain in-person presence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day ops across multiple locations.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices and align with operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and drive actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and readiness.
