H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and align priorities for service delivery and business results. The role requires strong leadership, client-centric focus, and the ability to travel between offices to maintain in-person presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service environments with accountability for performance.
• Ability to manage operations across multiple locations including staffing and scheduling.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on client experience.
• Travel frequently between offices to ensure consistent in-person presence.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of a high-quality client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to drive improvements.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals; set clear expectations and accountability.
• Oversee office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive revenue, growth, and business results across offices.
• Identify trends and address gaps; develop bench strength and succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and operational policies across all locations.
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in the field.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand with recruiting, onboarding, and readiness activities.
