Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring each location delivers a high‑quality client experience with disciplined execution.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set clear expectations, and align staffing, facilities, compliance, and daily operations to optimize client outcomes and business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountable performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations including staffing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals across 4–6 offices.
• Set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, and performance.
• Coach teams to anticipate client needs and deliver a welcoming experience.
• Own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Monitor metrics, drive revenue, growth, and client acquisition across offices.
• Travel frequently to maintain in-person presence across locations.
• Lead through change and implement new processes and tools.
